Mount Helen is a suburb of South Western Victoria,
Victoria and is about 98 kms west-northwest of
VIC's capital city of Melbourne. In the 2011
Australian census the population of Mount Helen
was 2,718 when there were 1,327 Females and 1,391

Mount Helen is a fast-growing southern suburb of
Ballarat situated just north of the town of
Buninyong in Victoria, Australia on the Canadian
Creek. Mount Helen is the headquarters of
Federation University Australia and the Ballarat
Technology Park, a campus style office park with
tenants including IBM, and a number of state
government offices including the State Revenue
Office, collectively employing more than 1,400
people.
